Pediatrician Opportunity

Located just north of Calgary in Carstairs, Alberta.

Consider a two week locum stay to check out if our clinic is the one for you.

We are not a children's hospital, though we love our nearby Alberta Childrens Hospital.

There is no NICU or PICU here, though a number of our children have experienced pressor drips, ventilators, and parenteral nutrition.

We do not even run a general pediatric ward, though we send children every year who have bronchiolitis and gastroenteritis.

Yet, our work is important.

We are there when the former 26-week premature infant comes home for the first time.

We are there when the toddler lags behind in their developmental milestones.

We are there when the young student consistently disrupts their classroom.

We are there when the teenager is feeling hopeless and suicidal.

- Medical home and patient-centred care focused

- We are inclusive of children with mental health disorders (ADHD, autism, depression, etc.)

- No inpatient duties, no deliveries
